Well done to everyone for rocking your socks on March 21st for World Down Syndrome Day- a very special day in our school calendar !
We are so proud of our very own Hannah who is leading the way in educating the girls in our school about Down Syndrome. We are with her all the way ❤️
By rocking our socks for World Down Syndrome Day we are showing that we wear, share and show we care!
This year’s theme is “With Us Not For Us” and is focused on the human rights approach to disability -the right to be treated fairly , have the same opportunities as everyone else and the freedom for people to make their own choices .
Down Syndrome Ireland are calling on all supporters to work “with us not for us” to improve the lives of everyone with Down Syndrome .
