2021-2022 Physical Education
Our school ensures that all classes are timetabled for 60 minutes of physical education every week. A broad and balanced PE curriculum is delivered, at all class levels, by the classroom teacher, including Aquatics, Athletics, Dance, Games, Gymnastics, Outdoor and Adventure. This year we are using the Move Well Move Often resource where we focus on a new FMS skill each month. This is displayed both on our Active Noticeboard and in the halla.
Each year we will choose a different strand to develop and teachers will up skill in this chosen strand to deliver the best PE curriculum possible so that everyone benefits.

LIT(TUS) Business and Sports Management Students:
For 5 weeks in November and December 2021 we were fortunate to have 5 fourth year students from LIT work with 8 classes from 1st class up on Fundamental Movement Skills. Both teachers, children and students gained valuable lessons from this great local partnership.
