All the girls had great fun during space week learning about different aspects of space through literacy, art, history, PE, drama and science!

We learned about the day and night sky, while focusing on the natural light of the sun during the day and of the moon at night.

The girls explored how shadows are made and on one of the lovely sunny, autumn days we went outside, explored different shapes with our bodies and drew the outline of our shadows.

Everyone really enjoyed the book ‘I am Neil Armstrong’ and after reading it there were a lot of girls eager to become engineers and astronauts 🚀
They had lots of interesting questions for Neil Armstrong and really enjoyed learning all about his life!
