The girls in Ms. Shearin's 3rd/4th Class did their bit for the environment recently by recycling and giving a new lease of life to their old glass bottles and magazines to produce shiny bud vases ! It took a long time to complete this project from start to finish and the girls had to be very patient and precise as they tore their magazine paper into small pieces, stuck them neatly onto the glass bottles, traced over all the joinings with thick black marker, and finally varnished their bottle with clear varnish. Although it took a long time for them to see their results they admitted it was worth it and they were very proud of their finished products.This was Reducing.. Reusing and Recycling at its best..... Well Done Girls.
