1st & 2nd Class have been learning about different ways that we can help our world ,become great global citizens and raise awareness about Climate Action. The children had to brainstorm 10 simple things that we can all do to help our world . They then cut out two of their handprints and wrote the ten ideas they came up with on each of their fingers on these cut outs. They attached these to an earth template which they lovingly coloured in, showing everyone that even their small hands can make a huge difference to our world !
The ten most popular ideas that they came up with to help our world were to:
1.Recycle
2.Pick up Litter
3.Compost
4.Plant a Tree
5.Eat local food
6.Turn off the Tap
7.Turn off the Light
8.Use Reusable Bottles
9.Walk to School
10.Give to Charity
These girls showed that they are true global citizens,spreading awareness of global issues and combatting Climate Change!
