We are asking all the school community to bring their previously loved clothing,linen,curtains,belts,handbags and paired shoes to the school for our November Charity Clothing Collection for the N.C.B.I. (National Council for the Blind). This collection helps the N.C.B.I. to raise funds for an estimated 224,000 people in Ireland experiencing severe eye-sight problems including blindness.The N.C.B.I. process these donations and sell garments in 105 charity shops nationwide. They recycle what cannot be used for resale,so all donations avoid landfill.
This collection also helps our school to maintain it's Green Flag and in the process we will also receive money per bag which goes towards our Green School's fund.
Bags can be dropped into the school from the 12th -22nd of November.
