This week classes immersed themselves in engineering based activities and some classes also engaged in learning about the background of engineering and famous engineers, with a focus on female engineers working in the past and those working today impacting on our future. 5th Class also watched ‘The Story of Water’, a documentary made in Ireland detailing many aspects of the use and treatment of water in Ireland. Some classes also saw how engineering is a big part of the popular Disney movie ‘Big Hero 6’. It well and truly was the most enjoyable and informative week!!
