Dear Green-Schools coordinator and the Green-Schools Committee
Thank you so much for submitting your application form for your work on the Global Citizenship theme.
For the second year running we have added an extra dimension to the programme, we have been going through all the applications and we have picked out the best schools for a very special celebration.
We are very pleased to inform you that the work that went on in your school stood out enormously and your school has been chosen as a regional winner
To this end we would like to let you know that a special, virtual celebration announcing the regional winners will take place on www.greenschoolsireland.org at 12 pm exactly!
The winners will be posted a theme pennant and a special trophy to state that you have been chosen as regional winner for the 2019/2020 academic year as well as you Green Flag as soon as schools are back in September.
At this ceremony we will also be announcing the National Global Citizenship school of the year who will be receiving a cash amount for their school and an extra trophy. Your school is in with a chance to win this prestigious title!
We congratulate you on your outstanding achievement and hope that you will be able to, virtually, get your Green-Schools committee together to celebrate your success while watching the video announcements next Friday at 12pm.
Good luck to all of you and well done on your hard work! It has been a pleasure to read about all the amazing work going on in your schools!
Kindest Regards
Birgit and Joanne
