Congratulations and Well Done to the girls in Ms. Shearin's 3rd/4th class who won 1st Prize in their category for the bottle prop they entered in the TLC Design a Bottle Competition. The girls really enjoyed assembling this class project and all 27 girls had an input into their class design using as many recyclable items as possible. On Thursday last March 7th, Alice Kennedy from 4th Class and Evelyn Ryan from 3rd Class represented the class at the prize giving ceremony in the Hunt Museum along with Ms. Shearin and Ms. Frazer Deputy Principal. It was a great occasion for all involved and the girls were presented with their prize by J.P. McManus and Paul O' Connell both whom are great supporters of the Team Limerick Clean Up initiative. In the coming weeks each girl in the class will receive a reusable bottle with their bottle design printed on it.Ms. McGrath's 2nd Class also had an excellent entry in this competition and all bottle props are currently on display in the Hunt Museum and in the Hunt Café. Ms. McGrath has signed our school up for Team Limerick Clean Up 5 on Good Friday, so we urge everyone to come out and help us make TLC 5 the biggest and best yet.
