From 10th-16th October we celebrated Climate Action Week in our school. In Junior and Senior infants we learned all about Guzzler and different ways he saved energy when getting ready for an Energy Party with all his friends. Afterwards each girl chose a way that they can save energy such as ‘Turn off the lights when I leave a room’ ‘Keep the doors closed to keep warm’ ‘Cycle or walk to school’ and many more! We then visited our Environmental Pledge Tree and added our class’ pledges to the tree 🌳🌍
