Dear Parents ,
Now that the summer holidays are drawing near it would be a great idea to encourage the girls to keep up the momentum in reading over the holidays. Even 10 minutes of reading a day can really improve levels in Vocabulary and Comprehension. So if your child is not already a member, why not join the local library! It is free to join. The Watchhouse Cross Library run a Summer Stars Reading Programme every year The children keep a reading record of books they have read and win prizes for their efforts. Here is some info below !
